I just want to say that you are, in fact, using Indyx as intended! There is absolutely no "right" or "wrong" way to do it...as long as the outcome is that you feel more satisfied with your closet.
Charu, I love your checklist! Man I get hung up on "sale" pieces A LOT. Or, to steal a phrase from Liana of Neverworn, I also get label dickmitized and I need a question that says "Are you wanting this because it's a good price for the brand?" Too often it would be a yes that would lead me to "DON'T BUY IT."
I'm so glad you enjoyed thinking about the Diderot Effect like I did. Now that I know about it I'm catching myself when I like a shirt AND a pair of pants together. Nothing wrong with that except I don't need 2 new items that are so closely linked.
I LOVED your newsletter—it really struck a deep chord with me! So often, I buy something just because it’s on sale, then end up buying another item to go with it, and on and on it goes.
It’s such a slippery slope! If I’m not careful, my wardrobe grows much faster than my wallet replenishes itself!
Yes! And then I find I don’t actually want to wear the thing with anything else because I only pictured it with that one thing. I love the tip of making outfits for different parts of your life too.

Yes! Love that outlook so much! I don’t have the discipline to log my outfits daily on the app but it’s so useful to me in other ways!
Came here via Kelly Williams and loved it! The sweater is so freaking cool
Thank you so much!!!
I love how thoughtful you are and this gave me so many ideas. Thank you for sharing and enjoy that gorgeous sweater!
